“Apologetics” means “defending our Christian faith”. This class mostly shows DVDs dealing with a wide variety of Creation apologetics. Usually a new topic is shown each week. Come join us for one week or longer as the class is continuing.

Can you remember the time when you first believed in the Lord? I can, it wasn’t that long ago. I was in my early thirties and all that I knew was that Jesus was “real”. That’s all that I was sure of. A short time later I remember that a lady was talking about “believers” and I didn’t know what she was talking about. I also remember the first time I prayed out loud, I prayed something I had read in a book because I was not sure how to do it. Do you feel that you really don’t know what people are talking about when it comes to faith, God and the Bible?
Beginning Sunday October 18th I have the privilege to lead a class that we are calling “Discovery.” In this class we will spend twelve weeks in Bible study, have plenty of discussion, laugh a lot and learn about what God meant by what He said. We will answer questions such as: What am I doing on earth? What is the point of life? Does it matter what we believe?
This is an opportunity for you to “discover” who God is and how to have a close relationship with him. Would you please consider joining us? |

Description: |
This is a 12 week study on the books 1&2 Timothy and Titus. Each of the three letters has a somewhat different focus. Yet the content of the three overlaps significantly. For this reason, it's helpful when teaching the pastorals to look at major themes occurring in each, and draw together the teaching in these books to gain a comprehensive picture. During our study in the pastorals we will do just this, looking at what these epistles contribute to our understanding of Christian teaching, of the qualifications of leaders, and of the way leaders are to function in the church. |
